As the city sleeps
Black shadows travel
Through empty streets
Baring white fangs
And haunting children’s sleep
Stopping only to satisfy their hunger.
Blood runs down the necks of their victims
Silent screams as their life fades and their eyes turn cold blue
Only to join in the hunt with the cold black-clad figures of the night.
